We are Eastside residents that expressed concern at the EGLE (fka MEDQ) public hearing for the air quality permits required in the Fiat Chrysler (FCA) expansion project.
We have been meeting since the EGLE hearing and we are currently hosting regular meetings with neighbors to learn more about environmental health and develop strategies to engage FCA and other players in the redevelopment of the industrial corridor we live in and around.
We have reached out to and been supported by environmental law experts and other Detroiters who have been active around the long-term struggles with Marathon Oil, the now shuttered incinerator and others.
We’ve been conducting Environmental Health Surveys to learn more about resident needs, and demand that residents be included in FCA’s plans for our future.
